Slack integration

LimAI for Slack

Bring document extraction, agent activity, and review requests into the channels your team already lives in.

What you get

Extraction notifications

Get notified in Slack when document extractions complete or fail, with a direct link back to the result in LimAI.

Agent run updates

Track agent activity in real time — completion, failures, and runs that need a human to review.

Per-project routing

Route notifications from each LimAI project to a different Slack channel. No noise in shared channels.

Per-event subscriptions

Pick exactly which event types each channel should receive — extraction, agent, billing, or all of them.

How to install

  1. 1

    Sign in to LimAI

Open app.limai.io and pick the project you want to wire up.

  2. 2

    Open Notifications → Channels

From the project sidebar, go to Notifications and click Add channel.

  3. 3

    Connect to Slack

Pick Slack as the channel type and click Connect to Slack. You’ll be redirected to Slack to authorize the LimAI workspace app.

  4. 4

Pick a channel and event types

Choose the Slack channel that should receive notifications and the event types you care about. Repeat for every project or channel you need.

Permissions we request

ScopeWhy we need it
channels:readList the public channels you can route notifications to.
groups:readList private channels the LimAI app has been invited to.
chat:writePost notification messages to the channels you select.
team:readShow the workspace name in LimAI so you can tell connected workspaces apart.

LimAI never reads messages from your channels. We only post notifications to channels you explicitly select.

Removing the integration

You can disconnect at any time from Notifications → Channels inside LimAI, or from your Slack workspace under Settings & administration → Manage apps. Disconnecting revokes our token and stops every notification routed through that workspace.
