1. Information we collect

We collect information that you provide directly, information generated through your use of the Services, and information from third-party services you choose to connect.

1.1 Information you provide

• Account information. Name, email address, and organization details when you sign up.
• Documents and content. Files, text, and metadata you upload to be processed by our extraction or agent pipelines.
• Communications. Messages you send to us, including support requests and feedback.

1.2 Information from connected services

When you connect a third-party service (such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Drive, SharePoint, or an email inbox), we receive only the data those services share with us based on the permissions you grant. For example, the Slack integration receives the workspace name, the channels you authorize us to post to, and the tokens required to send messages. We do not read your channel history or private messages.

1.3 Automatically collected information

• Usage data. Pages visited, features used, and API requests made to operate and improve the Services.
• Device and log data. IP address, browser type, operating system, and timestamps.
• Cookies. We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, security, and remembering preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

2. How we use information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Services.
• To process the documents and tasks you submit.
• To deliver notifications you have configured (email, Slack, Teams, and similar channels).
• To monitor performance, prevent abuse, and protect the security of the Services.
• To respond to support requests and communicate about your account.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your documents or extracted data to train third-party general-purpose AI models without your explicit consent.

3. How we share information

We share information only as described below:

• Service providers. Cloud hosting, database, email delivery, error monitoring, and AI inference providers that process data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
• Connected third-party services. When you configure an integration (e.g., posting to a Slack channel), we transmit the information required to perform that action to that service.
• Legal requirements. When required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of LimAI, our users, or others.
• Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

4. Data retention

We retain account information for as long as your account is active. Documents and extracted data are retained according to your project settings and the contract with your organization. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting support@limai.io. We may retain certain information where required by law or to resolve disputes.

5. Security

We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest, scoped access controls, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password and enable available security features on connected accounts.

6. International data transfers

LimAI operates from the European Union and may process data in other regions where our service providers operate. When we transfer personal data outside of your jurisdiction, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact support@limai.io. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

8. Children’s privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Third-party integrations

When you use a third-party integration, that service’s privacy policy also applies to the data shared between LimAI and that service. You can revoke any integration at any time from your LimAI project settings or from within the third-party service.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or in the product before the changes take effect. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
